Quite. How confused everyone gets at being betrayed in turn when they started it by stabbing someone figuratively in the back. Like they're just supposed to, and expected to, stand there and take it. Betrayal leads to more betrayal, that only leads to someone ending up dead. It's a bit of a theme.
